Call for Composer Commissions Applications
The Utah Arts Festival is accepting applications for the 2011 Commission for Orchestra and 2011 Commission for Chamber Ensemble. The works to be commissioned will be 8 – 12 minute works for chamber orchestra and six-piece chamber ensemble, respectively.
NOTE: Deadlines for Commissions for Orchestra and Chamber Ensemble have passed. If you have missed the deadlines, please apply next year for the Utah Arts Festival Commissions Program.
Commission for Orchestra
The award will be $7,500. The work will premiere at the 2011 Utah Arts Festival, performed by the Utah Arts Festival Orchestra, under the Artistic Direction of Andrew Rindfleisch.

Commission for Chamber Ensemble
The award will be $3,000. The work will premiere at the 2011 Utah Arts Festival, performed by the Utah Arts Festival Chamber Ensemble, under the Artistic Direction of Andrew Rindfleisch.
