UAF@40

Daily, Main Library, 4th Floor

Curated by Erika Church and Sara Davis, J. Willard Marriott Library - Special Collections Department

The Utah Arts Festival Collection and the Utah Arts Festival Experience Collection came together through a serendipitous conversation at the Mountain West Arts Conference in 2009. After many voices of support from both the Festival and the J. Willard Marriott Library at the University of Utah the archive was collected: 1,000's of pictures scanned, ephemera documented, and stories recorded. In 2011, for the Festival’s 35th Anniversary, a curated exhibit highlighting the rich history of the UAF shared the City Library gallery with Exhibition: 35x35. This year the exhibit returns to reflect on the Utah Arts Festival’s first 40 years in the company of Exhibition: 40 of 117.

Art at the Main

Gallery Exhibit: New Directions - Paintings by Terrece Beesley

June 13-July 9, The Gallery at Library Square, 4th Floor

Ms. Beesley’s watercolors have rhythm and energy that she says, “create a loose quality to what would otherwise be extremely realistic paintings.”
