UAF Gallery

To provide a rotating exhibition space for local artists who have participated in the Utah Arts Festival and to introduce emerging artists to the public while familiarizing them with the Gallery and Festival experience.

The Utah Arts Festival produces the art gallery in Artspace City Center, 230 South 500 West, Suite 120. The mission of the gallery is to provide additional exposure to Utah artists who have participated with the Festival and to support the work of emerging artists in the community

observationMatthew Jacobson is the curator of the Utah Arts Festival Gallery and is also the Artists Marketplace Coordinator for the annual festival.

Shows change monthly. The gallery is open Monday thru Friday from 10am-5pm and during Gallery Stroll – the third Friday of the month from 6pm to 9pm. The Utah Arts Festival Gallery is a member of the Salt Lake Gallery Association.

Gallery: Ghosts of the Great Basin

October brings "Ghosts of the Great Basin" to the Utah Arts Festival Gallery. Focusing on the animal world and nature, this show brings together three local artists of varying styles. Jennifer Jo Deily uses abundant texture and vivid colors in her oil and acrylic paintings. Thomas Horton, photographer, states, "They seem to be arriving and leaving at the same time, halfway in and halfway out of the world," referring to his series based on wild horses. This Month's Gallery: In Our Natural World

September brings fall like temperatures to Salt Lake City as well as "In Our Natural World" to the Utah Arts Festival Gallery. The show brings together three artists from the area with varying mediums; Tylyn Cullison, a landscape photographer with a specialization in waterscapes, Mark Messick, a Utah landscape oil painter, and Sabrina Squires, an acrylic collage artist that incorporates both organic and geometric pattern in cooperation with subjects from the natural world.
