Is there parking?

As part of the Festival’s eARTh Team Environmental Program, we like to encourage our patrons to take TRAX to the Festival – it will drop you off at our front door!. We have a great partnership with TRAX and they extend their hours during the Festival so you can stay and enjoy the last concert without missing your ride home!

Another earth-friendly alternative to the auto is our Valet Bike Lot – run by local bike clubs and shops, we’ll watch your bike for free! Our bike lot is located on 400 South, west of the Main Festival Entrance.

Of course, if you must drive, you can park underneath the Library (access to the lot is heading east on 400 South between 200 East and 300 East).

I need some special assistance. Is the site ADA compliant?

ADA

The Festival takes great pride in making the event accessible for all patrons. Wheelchairs are available for check out at the Festival box offices. Designated parking for handicapped parking is available on the corner of 500 S and 300 East. Temporary ramps have been installed to provide wheelchair access to some of our venues. We also provide outdoor port o potties for individuals in wheelchairs.

While we take every effort to make the Festival site accessible, we realize it is a temporary, out-door venue and there may be permanent structures erected that are beyond our control to comply with ADA regulations. However, at any time, should patrons need assistance maneuvering on the Festival grounds, we are more than happy to assist. Please feel free to contact any staff person on site or call Lisa Sewell, assistant director on her cell phone 801-949-5076 and she will attend to your needs!

Each year we distribute more than 8,000 complimentary tickets to agencies serving individuals with special needs. To receive an application for our Special Populations Program, contact This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .

We want to spend the Festival weekend downtown. Where do we stay?

The City Center Marriott is the Festival’s host hotel and offers a special Festival weekend rate for patrons. Located on State Street, the Marriott is within walking distance of the event. Call the Marriott Reservation Line at (801) 961-8700 and mention the Utah Arts Festival for the discount rate. If you’re spending the weekend, why not pick up a 4-Day Festival Pass?
