UAF Youth Rock Ensemble

Thur, June 23, 4:00pm, Park Stage

The best teen musicians rock out from these local rock schools: Music Garage, Rest 30 Records, School of Rock and Wasatch Music Coaching Academy. Meet the future of rock 'n roll.

Joshua Payne Orchestra

Fri, June 24, 10:15pm, Festival Stage

A Salt Lake City favorite, the Joshua Payne Orchestra is heavily influenced not only by jazz, but also hip-hop, rock, and pop. Their eclectic repertoire features original music as well as hits from Lil Wayne, Metallica, and the Pixies. Joshua plays an extremely rare 1946 Epiphone Emperor guitar.

Fictionist

Sat, June 25, 9:00pm, Park Stage

Fictionist, based in Provo, is modern rock band on the verge of a breakout career. With two full-length albums under their belt, they were down to the final four finalists in a Rolling Stone magazine cover competition. The band’s unique sound derives from classic and modern rock, jazz, psychedelia, and even classical and folk music traditions.

The Rubes

Sun, June 26, 9:00pm, Park Stage

The Rubes are a quirky rock/pop Salt Lake City staple for more than ten years. They are a spectacle to hear with high energy vocals, sometimes comic lyrics, and occasional super hero costumes; the musicianship is strictly serious.
