Urban Arts

Daily during the Festival

Visit the Urban Arts area west of the Park Stage for a DJ party with Uprok Records, graffiti art at The Cube and a large interactive painting project. BYOP – Bring your own paint.

Copper Palate Press

Copper Palate Press is a cooperative of artists in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City dedicated to showing Salt Lake a different and more interactive side of printmaking. Learn the art of printmaking and silk screening, or bring something to have silk screened while you wait.

Higher Ground Learning

A five day Urban Art class, taught at Higher Ground Learning, will explore various forms of guerrilla art and how they are used to impact thought and opinion in today's media culture. From Shepard Fairey to Banksy, wheat pasting to stencil cutting, Students will delve into all kinds of art born on the streets. Local artists Mason Fetzer and Dave Doman will work with students exploring traditions and techniques used both locally and internationally.

The Cube & Colabo Art Piece

As in the past, The Cube is open for public-painting (bring your own paint). We will also be working on a large colabo art piece that is 20 feet wide x 20 feet high that festival attendees can help create. By the end of the festival, the large colabo piece will be one solid image.

Custom Trucker Hats

Graffiti artists Mason Fetzer, Dave Doman, Chuck Lanvader and other artists from the 337 Project will create custom hats on the spot.
