Accessibility Statement

The Utah Arts Festival is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to everyone, including persons with visual, auditory, cognitive or any other type of disability.

Our Commitment

Our aim is to provide an inclusive online experience so that all individuals can access our content and services with ease. We also strive to provide access at the in-person Utah Arts Festival held annually every June. Please view our Accessibility Guide that pertains to specific on-site accommodations.

WCAG Guidelines

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. We follow the WCAG 2.1 recommendations as a guideline to ensure our website's accessibility standards which defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. The Utah Arts Festival strives to be compliant with WCAG 2.1 level AA.

Accessibility Plugin

We have installed an accessibility plugin to provide users with options to customize the way they view and consume information on our website. This tool is not intended to replace the ongoing work or commitment we have made to digital accessibility.

Festival App

While we are striving to provide digital and in-person accessibility as much as possible, the current Festival app for iOS and Android is not fully accessible by default but phone settings can assist to set larger text and contrast.

Feedback

We are committed to working to enhance our website's accessibility features to ensure it is aligned with any changes to laws, standards or policies.

Please reach out with any feedback related to accessibility issues or suggestions for improvement. For specific accessibility requirements, please do not hesitate to get in touch, and we will try our best to accommodate them.
