Selection Process

Artists will be selected by a peer jury comprised of musicians, music critics, and other professionals in the performing arts. Artists serving as jury members, and the groups with whom they perform, are invited prior to the jury to perform at the 2018 Utah Arts Festival.

Jury selections will be based upon materials submitted with the application and on past performances both in Utah and at the Utah Arts Festival. The jury will look for professionalism, originality, creativity, and suitability of materials for the Utah Arts Festival.
